Italy, Walking & Hiking

The Italian Alps are equally as inspiring as their Swiss, Austrian or French counterparts when it comes to choosing a walking holiday destination. From the craggy limestone cliffs of the Dolomites in the north east to the towering snow capped mass of the Monte Rosa in the north west and beyond to the rocky islands of Sardinia and Sicily, Italy has much to offer the intrepid hiker. Fabulous days out enjoying Italy’s natural beauty and marvellous scenic splendour can be complimented by an evenings indulgence in that other Italian delight, fine food and wine.

Italy also offers some spectacular coastal walks in the likes of Liguria or Amalfi or for those preferring something requiring much less effort picturesque Puglia or the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany offer much more genteel alternatives.
